The Role
We're hiring a scrappy Content Creator who can create a high volume (30 plus videos per week) of funny, authentic, fall-out-of-your-chair-worthy content. You'll concept, script, shoot, and edit short-form video and static content across our brands, turning our products into content people actually want to watch and send to a friend. You'll move fast, work on a high volume of content, and help define what Relatable sounds like online across all brands.
What You'll Do
- Concept, script, shoot, and edit a high volume of short-form video and static posts for all social media platforms
- Spot trends, memes, new formats, and viral sounds early, then translate them into on-brand content within hours, not weeks
- Appear on camera with ease and direct coworkers, talent, and the occasional plush animals
- Write hooks, captions, and on-screen copy that match each brand's voice, from party-game chaos to cozy and comforting family-friendly content
- Partner with Brand, Social, Paid, Influencer, TikTok Shop, and Creative teams to bring product launches and campaigns to life on social
- Submit high volume of content for feedback, making note of all feedback and applying those learnings to future concepts
- Review performance data regularly, learn what lands, and adjust the next round of content accordingly
- Work with the team to keep raw footage, final files, and published content organized so the team can find and reuse assets as needed
- Pitch new series, formats, and recurring bits to build an audience over time
What You Bring
- 2-4 years creating short-form social content for a brand or agency preferred
- A portfolio or social handle with great enagement that makes us laugh
- Strong comedic instincts: timing, writing, and knowing when a joke has run its course
- Comfort appearing and speaking on camera and comfort directing others
- Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing tools, plus confidence shooting on a phone or camera
- Fluency in internet culture and platform trends, including the difference between a trend and a trend that's already over
- Ability to take feedback, cut your favorite joke if it isn't working, and still make deadlines
- Organization and speed to manage multiple brands and a steady stream of content each week
- Hard-working roll-up-your sleeves mentality, and willingness to help other teams as needed, even if it's outside of your job description
Bonus Points
- Improv, sketch, or stand-up experience
- Motion graphics, animation, or stop-motion skills
- Experience in games, toys, or consumer products
- A personal account with a following, or a video that went further than you expected
