JOB DESCRIPTION
Temple Hill Entertainment was founded in 2006 by Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen. Together they’ve produced a number of successful film franchises, notably The Twilight Saga, The Maze Runner trilogy, and the Smile series along with The Fault in Our Stars, Fatherhood, The Hate U Give, Love, Simon, First Man and Happiest Season. In TV, they have success with the hit ABC series, Revenge, FX's Dave, and Amazon’s Off Campus. Most recently, Temple Hill has produced the features My Oxford Year for Netflix, The Map that Leads to You for Amazon, Clown in a Cornfield, which premiered at SXSW to critical acclaim and sold to IFC/Shudder, and People We Meet on Vacation, based on Emily Henry’s bestselling novel, for Netflix. Upcoming films include Monitor, directed by Matt Black & Ryan Polly which sold out of SXSW to Searchlight Pictures, Children of Blood and Bone, based on the internationally bestselling book series and directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood for Paramount; Heart of the Beast, Blacklist standout directed by David Ayer and starring Brad Pitt for Paramount. This is an incredible opportunity that provides inside access to all aspects of the business and knowledge from each of the departments within the company - film, television, and publishing.
Interns must be hardworking and eager to learn, as well as strong readers and writers since evaluating books, scripts, and TV pilots for coverage is the primary task. Along with these duties, interns will have the unique experience of participating in staff meetings, offering creative feedback on current projects, conducting research for future projects, and attending advance test screenings of films. Other duties will include helping with various organizational and administrative tasks around the office.
Interns must be available 2 full days a week, in-person in our Beverly Hills office, and be eligible for class credit as this is an unpaid opportunity.
