Job Description

Company Description

Icon Live is a growing organization based in Los Angeles, CA, focused on delivering innovative, high-quality services in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The company values integrity, accountability, and clear financial reporting to support informed business decisions. Team members are encouraged to share ideas, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Icon Live offers opportunities for professional growth, exposure to a variety of business operations, and the chance to help shape scalable financial processes. The workplace emphasizes inclusivity, respect, and a commitment to strong operational and financial discipline.

Role Description

ICON LIVE is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist who is comfortable getting into the weeds of a campaign while also helping move the pieces between our internal marketing team and our digital agency partners. This role serves as the day-to-day connective tissue for our digital marketing efforts — translating strategy into clear briefs, keeping agencies accountable to timelines and performance, and making sure campaigns launch on time, on budget, and on message. This is a great opportunity for someone who understands digital marketing well enough to spot problems and ask sharp questions, but who enjoys coordination and cross-team orchestration as much as hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

  •  Serve as the day-to-day point of contact between the internal marketing team and our digital agency partners.
  • Translate campaign goals into clear briefs, timelines, and success metrics for agency partners.
  • Own the relationship with paid media, SEO, and creative agencies, tracking deliverables and holding partners accountable to deadlines and KPIs.
  • Get into the details when needed: reviewing ad copy, checking campaign setup, auditing landing pages, and troubleshooting tracking or tagging issues alongside agency teams.
  • Pull together performance reporting across channels (paid search, paid social, SEO, email) into clear summaries for internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Maintain the marketing calendar and campaign trackers, keeping multiple workstreams moving across internal teams and external partners.
  • Review agency deliverables for brand consistency and accuracy before launch.
  • Loop in sales, creative, and other internal teams as needed so agency work stays aligned with broader business priorities.
  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, scheduling, and calendar coordination across promotions and lifecycle sends.
  • Build, proof, and QA email content and templates; manage list hygiene, deliverability, and compliance with CAN-SPAM/opt-in requirements.
  • Track and report on email performance (open rate, click rate, conversions) and use results to refine targeting and messaging.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Live entertainment experience preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, in-house or agency-side.
  • Working knowledge of core digital channels: paid search, paid social, SEO, programmatic, and email marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with email service providers (e.g., Klaviyo, HIVE, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar), including automation/flow setup.
  • Comfort reading campaign performance data in platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Analytics (GA4).
  • Experience managing timelines, briefs, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders or vendors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations.
  • A confident, proactive self-starter who flags issues early and can prioritize across multiple projects at once.
