REPORTS INTO: Head of Creative Production

Job Responsibilities:
- Work directly with clients and client teams on a daily basis, serving as a primary point of contact with excellent client-facing communication and organizational skills.
- Inspire and support creative teams across graphics, fabrication, and creative technology to manage and execute results-driven events and programs that meet client objectives and deliver against project scope.
- Balance oversight of the fabrication and graphics production process across projects as a whole with active contribution to daily production needs, adapting based on project requirements.
- Work closely with the Head of Creative Production to identify and improve best practices when collaborating with external creative agencies and partners.
- Collaborate with Sr. Fabrication Directors and the Head of Creative Production to develop and execute improved processes and procedures across the fabrication and graphics departments.
- Manage all event needs for clients, delegating responsibilities across the team and maintaining oversight of creative services processes and workflows through to client deliverables.
- Source and negotiate best pricing with venues, caterers, AV suppliers, and other vendors, maintaining budget expectations across all projects.
- Manage project deadlines and prioritize multiple projects running concurrently under various timelines.
- Assess projects to determine resource requirements, ensuring the team is set up for success both operationally and financially from the outset.
- Support team resourcing across full-time and freelance talent, negotiating and developing contracts in alignment with project budgets.
- Attend internal and external kick-offs and client calls as individual project needs require.
- Work closely with senior leaders across departments as a member of the directors team, ensuring synergy, collaboration, and clear communication across the business.
- Mentor producers across the department, encouraging a positive approach to problem-solving, client challenges, and collaboration with design and account teams.
- Maintain regular one-on-ones with individual team members and lead department meetings to keep teams aligned and motivated.
- Support Operations and Finance teams to ensure proper processes are followed across all projects.
- Analyze and report on event outcomes, including post-event details, budget analysis, and areas for growth, with a consistent eye on continuous improvement and efficiencies.
- Lead new projects as Executive Producer, or oversee an Executive Producer and team to deliver a successful event or project on behalf of salt.
- Lead by example on site, with willingness to put in the hours alongside the team and support wherever needed.
- Domestic and international travel required, approximately 40 to 50%.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in event production, creative production, or fabrication management, ideally within an agency setting.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, inspire, and mentor cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong client-facing communication and organizational skills with a track record of successfully managing high-level client relationships.
- Expertise in fabrication processes and hands-on production, with the ability to oversee and actively contribute to builds as needed.
- Exceptional project management abilities, including budget management, timeline development, and multi-project prioritization.
- Vendor sourcing and negotiation experience across venues, AV, catering, and other event services, with a focus on maintaining budget alignment.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and relevant project management tools.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and work on-site as required throughout project lifecycles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
