Job Type: Part-Time Fall Semester Internship (College Credit Eligible)



Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on Video Production Intern for the current semester to directly assist in recording and producing an upcoming unscripted/reality show episode. Unlike traditional administrative film internships, this role focuses entirely on the technical pipeline of creators: you will split your time evenly between on-set camera/audio recording and post-production video editing.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Recording: Assist with multi-camera setups, operate secondary B-roll cameras, and manage field audio equipment (lavalier and boom microphones) during reality style shoots. [1]
  • On-Set Media Management: Handle data Wrangling, offload memory cards safely, and organize raw production footage files.
  • Video Editing: Build initial rough cuts, create assembly string-outs, and organize multi-cam timelines within the editing software workflow.
  • Post-Production Support: Assist with dialogue cleanup, basic sound placement, and exporting final episode deliverables for review. [1]



Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a college/university film, television, or media production program.
  • Foundational experience operating DSLR or mirrorless cinema cameras (Sony, Canon, or Blackmagic).
  • Proficient technical knowledge of non-linear editing software, preferably Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Ability to work independently on tight deadlines and manage large file structures.



General Information:

This application is intended for current university students and recent graduates. Please only submit this application once per cycle. Academic Credit is available as a form of compensation.

  • Internship Dates: August 31st – December 18th, 2026
  • Hours: Twice a week from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (16 hours per week)
  • Location: Burbank, CA office and local shoot locations



Goals and Objectives:

  • Learn effective entertainment industry communication, video production workflow, and reality TV structures.
  • Receive routine feedback and evaluation from industry professionals.
  • Gain real-world experience in multi-camera setups, field audio recording, and non-linear editing.
  • Network with entertainment industry professionals.
  • This internship acts as an extension of the classroom by providing real-life application to media production, digital storytelling, and post-production concepts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Content Delivery: Format and package digital video files for client submissions and network casting pitches.


Equipment Requirements:

  • Camera Package: Must own and bring a reliable camera setup capable of shooting high-definition video
  • Editing Gear: Must own a reliable laptop capable of handling heavy video editing software


Eligibility:

  • Term: Fall 2026 Internships for our Burbank Office.
  • Availability: Applicants must be able to work part-time, 16-20 hours per week or 290 hours minimum to complete the Fall internship.
  • Education: Applicants should have a graduation date of May 2026 - June 2028.
  • Location: Burbank, CA.
  • Compensation: This is an unpaid internship with academic credit offered as a form of compensation.
