As a Filmmaker Representative at FM, your pivotal role serves as the primary bridge between our brand and filmmakers, ensuring their ongoing success and exceptional experience. From scouting filmmakers and advocating for Filmsupply to negotiating contracts and providing hands-on support, your responsibilities encompass a diverse spectrum, including the curation of footage and providing valuable feedback. Your success hinges on clear communication, an appreciation for exceptional commercial filmmaking, and a relentless dedication to both filmmakers and our team. Core Duties & Responsibilities

  • Have a full understanding of the services and benefits Filmsupply has to offer to effectively scout, communicate, and sign potential filmmakers that meet Filmsupply’s quality standards and market demands.

  • Properly research and review applications for potential filmmakers to ensure that Filmsupply has an exceptional, diverse, and multi-cultural roster of filmmakers and content.

  • Seamlessly transition new filmmakers from the contract signing process into the onboarding and curation process.

  • Curate submitted footage, providing filmmakers with feedback before its integration into the Filmsupply marketplace. Collaborate to curate thematic collections of footage

  • Stay informed about current trends and customer preferences, guiding filmmakers to create and submit footage aligned with these insights.

  • Responsively address support inquiries from new and existing filmmakers, seamlessly guiding them to the appropriate support team for further assistance.

  • Collaborate with the acquisition team to enhance systems, pitching strategies, and resources, aiming for a streamlined onboarding process and an elevated filmmaker experience.

Job requirements

  • 3+ years experience working in the film industry

  • Uncompromising ability to recognize quality cinematography, authentic creative direction, and aesthetic in all potential filmmaker and footage representation

  • Excellent organization and project management skills

  • Experience working in collaboration with small and large teams where effective and clear communication is essential

  • A good understanding of various filmmaker roles and how they all work together

  • Experience in a sales or customer service position with regular client communication

  • Working knowledge in Google Drive (Docs & Sheets), Google Calendar, Gmail, Mac OS, Digital Agreement signing apps, ClickUp, Cloud File Sharing Software, and basic math
