Location: New York City

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – minimum of 4 days per week in the New York City office

Position Summary


Relevent is looking for a Manager, Broadcast Relations – Americas, to support the exploitation of the

Bundesliga media rights in the Americas.

As an important member of the Relevent-Bundesliga Americas team, this role will support the

execution and delivery of media rights partnerships with English and Spanish language broadcasters

throughout North, Central, and South Americas.

The right candidate will possess a strong understanding of the sports media ecosystem, including

programming strategy, content development, distribution, audience growth, and marketing

activation. This role will play a key role in helping broadcasters maximize the value of their

Bundesliga rights, supporting both day-to-day service and the development of innovative activation

opportunities that drive viewership, engagement, and commercial success.


Major Responsibility


Broadcaster Management & Servicing


• Support the day-to-day servicing and management of broadcasters in their utilization and

activation of Bundesliga rights.

• Work closely with broadcasters on the planning and optimization of Bundesliga

programming, content utilization, and promotional strategies to grow audiences and

maximize the value of Bundesliga rights.

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Bundesliga's product portfolio and all

media rights agreements, communicating both clearly and effectively to broadcasters.

• Maintain and optimize internal documentation and processes, especially relating to

broadcast and marketing.

• Play an active role in shaping and delivering broadcast marketing initiatives, including paid

media campaigns.

• Support the planning, creation and delivery of materials for regular broadcaster

meetings, end of seasons workshops and club meetings.


Collaboration & Stakeholder Management


• Work closely with cross-functional teams including content, marketing, legal and finance

across the Americas and Germany to ensure alignment and delivery.

• Proactively support the growth objectives of business owners and functional leads.

• Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders at clubs and other partner

organizations.

• Foster strong, trust-based relationships with broadcasters through open communication and

collaborative ways of working.


Skills & Experience Required


• 4-6 years’ experience in sports media, media rights, broadcast partnerships, content

distribution, or sports marketing, either at a broadcaster, rightsholder, agency, or media

company

• Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder engagement capabilities

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects from inception to

completion, ensuring deadlines are met

• Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-based approach in fast-paced environments

• International mindset, experience working across cultures and regions. Ability and

willingness to travel occasionally.

• Strong understanding of sports content programming, audience development, distribution

strategies, and media marketing is an advantage

• Strong interest in soccer is an advantage

• Fluent English required, Spanish fluency an advantage


Salary Range

$85,000 - $95,000
