ENJOY is one of the fastest-growing basketball media companies, producing premium basketball content across YouTube, podcasts, original game shows, live events, and branded partnerships. Our content reaches millions of basketball fans each month, and we've partnered with some of the biggest brands, leagues, and media companies in sports. We're looking for an experienced production leader to help us build the production engine behind our next stage of growth.
As our Manager, Content Production & Operations, you'll work directly alongside our VP of Content as their day-to-day right hand across everything we produce. You'll translate creative vision into execution, build scalable production systems, manage and develop our production team, and help ensure every project ships at the quality ENJOY is known for. This is a leadership role, but it's also hands-on. We want someone who's just as comfortable leading production meetings as they are jumping onto a set or solving problems in the field.
- Serve as the VP of Content's day-to-day production partner.
- Own ENJOY's production operating system, including production meetings, timelines, workflows, trackers, and accountability.
- Lead production across YouTube, podcasts, original programming, branded content, and live productions.
- Manage and develop our full-time Content Producer while leading our network of freelance editors, crew members, and production contractors.
- Translate creative ideas into executable production plans while continuously improving production quality, workflows, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with our Partnerships team to deliver branded content that feels authentic to our audience.
- Help produce live events, original series, and special productions.
- Maintain operational readiness across our Oak Brook production studio.
The ideal candidate has:
- 5–8 years of progressive production experience.
- Experience leading productions from concept through delivery.
- Experience managing people, contractors, or production teams.
- Deep understanding of YouTube, video podcasts, and digital-first storytelling.
- The ability to balance creative thinking with operational excellence.
- A willingness to lead from the front and jump into the work when needed.
- Passion for basketball, sports and creator-led media.
Experience working with streaming, broadcast, sports leagues, or premium digital productions is a plus.
This is an on-site role based in Oak Brook, Illinois (Chicago area).
Candidates must either already be located in the Chicagoland area or be willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not available.
