Role Description This is a full-time Marketing Manager role in a hybrid work arrangement, based in the New York City Metropolitan Area with some work-from-home flexibility. The Marketing Manager oversees planning and execution of marketing campaigns for films, series, and digital content, including audience targeting, messaging, and release strategies. Responsibilities include developing integrated marketing plans, coordinating promotional materials and assets, and managing timelines across social, digital, experiential, and traditional channels. The role involves collaborating with production, creative, and distribution teams, managing external agencies or vendors, and tracking campaign performance against key metrics. The Marketing Manager also conducts market and audience research, monitors trends in entertainment marketing, and prepares reports and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in marketing management within entertainment, media, or a related industry, with a track record of planning and executing multi-channel campaigns.
- Strong skills in brand positioning, audience segmentation, and campaign strategy, including the ability to translate creative concepts into clear go-to-market plans.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media management, analytics, email marketing, paid media), and comfort interpreting performance data to optimize campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling marketing copy and present ideas clearly to both creative and business stakeholders.
- Proven project management abilities, including coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets and timelines, and handling multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Familiarity with entertainment release cycles, publicity, and promotional partnerships; experience working with agencies, publicists, or brand partners is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with the ability to attend in-person meetings, production events, or premieres as needed.
