What You’ll Do
- Own the newsroom flow—from story idea to published content
- Produce and edit compelling local news (digital + video)
- Collaborate with reporters, anchors, and digital teams
- Make fast editorial decisions during breaking news
- Write, edit, and polish stories that people actually read
- Track what’s working—and double down on it
What You Bring
- Experience in a newsroom, digital media, or broadcast environment
- Strong writing and editing skills (AP style is a plus)
- Sharp news judgment and attention to detail
- Ability to juggle multiple deadlines without missing a beat
- Familiarity with CMS, video editing, and social media
- A passion for local news and storytelling
