Job Description
The Edit, a leading social-first creative agency, is seeking a highly motivated Partnerships Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in influencer marketing, brand partnerships, creator relations, and campaign management across beauty, fashion, lifestyle, entertainment, and consumer brands.
Working within our Partnerships department, you'll support the day-to-day execution of creator campaigns, talent communications, and client initiatives. This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced role for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to learn how influencer marketing and brand partnerships operate inside a growing creative agency.
Compensation & Eligibility
This internship is for academic credit only and is unpaid. Candidates must be eligible to receive internship credit through an accredited college or university and provide any required documentation from their academic institution. We are happy to work with students and university programs to fulfill internship requirements.
What You'll Do
- Assist with influencer sourcing and creator research across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms
- Build and maintain creator lists based on campaign objectives, demographics, and brand fit
- Support outreach to creators, managers, and talent agencies regarding partnerships and collaborations
- Help track campaign timelines, deliverables, approvals, and content submissions
- Assist with reviewing creator content to ensure it aligns with campaign briefs and brand guidelines
- Coordinate product gifting, shipping logistics, and creator sample tracking
- Maintain influencer databases, rate cards, contact lists, and partnership documentation
- Support contract, invoice, and campaign organization across internal systems
- Conduct competitive research and identify emerging creators, trends, and partnership opportunities
- Assist with campaign reporting by gathering performance metrics and organizing post-campaign recaps
- Help prepare client presentations, creator recommendations, and campaign materials
- Support the Partnerships team with special projects and additional campaign needs as assigned
Who You Are

- Strong written communication skills and professionalism in email correspondence
- Passionate about social media, influencer marketing, creator culture, and digital trends
- Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and staying organized across several projects
- Analytical and curious, with an interest in campaign performance and influencer strategy
- Positive, collaborative, and willing to jump in wherever needed
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and creator ecosystems
- Comfortable using Google Workspace, Canva, Microsoft Excel, and presentation tools (preferred but not required)
- Previous internship, marketing, social media, retail, communications, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be based in the Los Angeles area and available to work in person from our Santa Monica studio
