The Role:
The Senior Manager, Integrated Ad Sales & Partner Success role supports advertising revenue growth across Programmatic, Direct IO, and Integrated Sponsorships by serving as the operational bridge between pre-sale readiness, deal activation, post-sale execution, and performance reporting. Working cross-functionally, the role coordinates with Sales, Revenue Monetization & Operations, Ad Operations, external ad operations partners, SSPs and DSPs, agencies, advertisers, and sponsorship stakeholders to ensure campaigns are launched efficiently, executed successfully, and optimized to deliver strong business outcomes.
The Responsibilities
Sales Planning: Enablement & RFP Readiness
- Coordinate RFP intake, response workflow, and required internal inputs.
- Maintain capabilities materials, package descriptions, specs, timelines, requirements, and process references.
- Support proposal assumptions, feasibility checks, CRM/deal hygiene, approval routing, and escalation paths.
- Apply approved pricing, packaging, and deal guidelines with Revenue Monetization & Operations.
Deal Activation & Partner Coordination
- Manage clean sales-to-operations handoffs with complete briefs, owners, assets, targeting, timing, and reporting needs.
- Coordinate SSP/DSP execution, including buyer details, seat IDs, deal IDs, partner follow-up, and buyer-side confirmation.
- Track Direct IO launch readiness and sponsorship workback timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and milestones.
- Ensure Ad Operations, external ad operations partners, and internal stakeholders receive complete activation requests and status visibility.
Account Management: Post-Sale Partner & Client Success
- Own day-to-day status from sold opportunity through launch, delivery, reporting, and wrap-up.
- Track delivery, spend, pacing, launch status, blockers, and partner/client feedback.
- Coordinate issue escalation, troubleshooting workflows, and internal/client/partner status updates.
- Coordinate reporting inputs, post-campaign recaps, wrap-up materials, and learnings for renewals, pricing, packaging, forecasting, sales enablement, and process improvement.
The Essentials
- Advertising operations background: 5-7 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, programmatic operations, account management, client success, media planning, or campaign operations.
- Programmatic fluency: SSPs, DSPs, PMPs, curated deals, deal IDs, buyer seats, floors, targeting, activation workflows.
- Direct IO understanding: ad operations handoffs, trafficking requirements, launch readiness, pacing, reporting, post-sale management.
- Sponsorship exposure: integrated media, branded content, custom partnerships, or cross-functional execution preferred.
- Core strengths: project management, attention to detail, stakeholder coordination, clear communication, sound escalation judgment.
- Tools preferred: CRM systems, ad servers, SSPs/DSPs, order management tools, or reporting platforms.
The pay rate for this position is between $110,000-$130,000/annually, exclusive of any bonuses or other incentive compensation (if any).
