About Us:

Our client is a growing digital media company producing around a dozen shows at a time, looking for a Senior Production Accountant in a newly-created role to own the financial management of their production slate while supporting broader accounting operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Finance (primary focus)

  • Track and manage budgets across roughly a dozen active shows simultaneously
  • Manage day-to-day cash flow for productions, including cost reporting and budget-to-actual tracking
  • Process payments to production staff, crew, and vendors
  • Maintain bookkeeping for each individual show, ensuring accurate, show-level financial records
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy on production finance, working under the oversight of the Controller without needing direction on every task


Corporate Support (secondary)

  • Support month-end close and general bookkeeping alongside the Controller
  • Assist with NetSuite reporting and reconciliations as needed
  • Provide backup support on AP, AR, and general accounting operations for the broader digital media business


Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in production accounting required, must understand how to manage budgets, cost reports, and payments across multiple concurrent productions
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a high volume of shows at once
  • Strong QuickBooks and spreadsheet skills; familiarity with production finance software
  • NetSuite experience a plus but not required
  • Background in media, entertainment, or production environments strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple concurrent projects
