Job Description
San Francisco, CA | Part-time Internship
Love music, film, TikTok, and making content that people actually want to watch?
We're looking for a creative, social-media-savvy intern to help make short-form content for my band Misandrist, along with 2 festivals I run: Soundwall Music Fest, and Divinity Film Festival.
You'll be shooting and editing TikToks, Reels, behind-the-scenes footage, artist/filmmaker content, interviews, event coverage, and whatever else we can come up with — with the goal of growing our audiences and creating content that gets real traction.
What we're looking for- You know TikTok and understand what makes a video take off
- You can shoot and edit engaging short-form video
- You have a good eye for visuals, trends, hooks, and storytelling
- You're creative, proactive, and not afraid to experiment
- You're genuinely into music, film, and the arts
- Bonus: experience with CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, photography, or videography
You don't need a ton of professional experience. We care more about your creative instincts and whether you can make something people want to watch.
What you'll get- Hands-on experience working with a band + music festival + film festival
- Real-world content to build your portfolio
- Access to cool shows, screenings, festivals, and events
- Opportunities to meet musicians, filmmakers, and other creatives
- A chance to get genuinely plugged into the San Francisco creative scene
- The opportunity to help grow real brands and audiences from the ground up
This is ideal for someone who wants to make things, meet people, and be in the middle of the SF music and film world.
Interested?Send us a short intro, examples of TikToks/Reels you've made, and your TikTok/Instagram if you have one. Tell us what you're into and why you'd be excited to work across music, film, and live events.
