Freelance Social Media Videographer
CatJab is looking for a nimble, experienced social media videographer to join our freelance roster for upcoming client shoots in Los Angeles and also for travel.
This role is specifically for someone who understands how to shoot for Reels, TikTok and social-first content. You should be comfortable moving quickly, strategically, and capturing polished content in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You must be able to handle both camera, lighting and sound independently.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has at least 6 months to 1 year of professional social media production experience
- Has strong experience filming for Instagram Reels and TikTok
- Can handle camera, audio and basic lighting
- Is comfortable filming interviews, talking heads, lifestyle content, for businesses and talent
- Can move quickly between setups and capture multiple pieces of content in one shoot day
- Understands framing, clean audio and what makes footage work specifically for social media
- Is collaborative, reliable and comfortable taking direction from a producer
- Has their own professional camera and sound equipment
A reel or portfolio featuring social media work is required to be considered. Applications without a reel will not be reviewed.
This is freelance, project-based work with the opportunity for ongoing shoots as CatJab grows.
