Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for leading social content creation and production processes across Apple Services social marketing initiatives. You will partner closely with creative, production, brand, and cross-functional teams to ensure work is strategically sound, platform-native, operationally feasible, and executed to a high creative standard. More specifically:
- Lead feasibility and platform strategy for creative concepts, ensuring ideas are grounded in platform-native behavior, best practices, and executional reality.
- Serve as an advocate for social within integrated campaign settings, bringing a social-first perspective to creative development, production planning, and execution.
- Develop production approaches, campaign timelines, vendor recommendations, and resourcing frameworks in partnership with day-to-day producers.
- Lead and manage internal and external communications and workflows, ensuring clear ownership, effective exchange of information, and timely delivery of assets.
- Navigate competing priorities, allocate resources appropriately, identify and mitigate potential bottlenecks, and manage day-to-day escalations and production challenges.
- Advise film producers on appropriate scope, budget ranges, production approaches, and delivery models, balancing creative ambition with business priorities and executional realities.
- Independently manage budgets and agency and vendor relationships, including informing SOWs, assessing burn, negotiating costs, and tracking spend.
- Ensure creator campaigns are strategically aligned with KPIs, budgets, and timeline realities. When applicable, integrate creator workstreams into broader campaigns, ensuring alignment across stakeholders, deliverables, and critical milestones.
- Partner with PM, Brand, Content, Product, and other cross-functional teams to ensure business-critical checkpoints are met and creative development accounts for channel and partner needs.
- Partner closely with day-to-day producers and creatives throughout development and execution to ensure work reflects social-native standards and behaviors, including UI, safe zones, music, and other platform-specific considerations.
- Ensure final deliverables meet platform best practices and technical requirements without compromising creative ambition or craft.
- Develop and manage clear briefs to ensure internal and external stakeholders are aligned on creative intent, scope, deliverables, timelines, and expectations.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve production processes, partner workflows, and overall team efficiency while creating an environment that supports innovation.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a lead producer in a creatively driven social environment, agency, or internal creative team.
- Expert knowledge of social marketing, platform best practices, content creation, and production processes; experience within a subscription services business model is preferred.
- Deep understanding of social platforms and the ability to translate platform behaviors, technical requirements, and emerging formats into actionable creative and production guidance.
- Demonstrated experience working with creators on craft-focused productions and integrating creator-led work into broader campaign initiatives.
- Proven ability to operate at both a strategic and executional level, balancing day-to-day production needs with broader opportunities for efficiency, scalability, and team structure.
- Strong experience managing complex, cross-functional campaigns with multiple workstreams, stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
- Established network of high-caliber creative, production, digital, photography, illustration, creator, and freelance agency partners.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple vendor and agency relationships, evaluating production partners, and defining partner rosters based on project needs.
- Strong financial and production management experience, including creating and informing SOWs, managing budgets, assessing burn, negotiating third-party costs, creating PRs and POs, and tracking spend.
- Experience articulating creative intent and proactively organizing internal and external partners to bring ideas to life.
- Ability to execute creative ideas and communications across a variety of mediums, including social, digital display, film and video, photography, print, OOH, email, experiential activations, and website landing pages.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across creative, production, marketing, product, and business teams.
