Job Title: Social Project Manager
Department: Marketing Operations, Paramount TV Media
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Role Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for managing resourcing, timelines, workflows, and delivery mechanics across social teams and content initiatives. This role ensures all projects move from brief to final delivery on schedule, within scope, and in alignment with operational standards.
Role Details
Brief Intake & Kickoff
● Fields incoming briefs and initiates kickoff meetings internally and with external agencies and vendors
● Clarifies scope, deadlines, budget and delivery requirements
Timeline & Workflow Management
● Manages project timelines, milestones, and due dates
● Assigns creative resources and manages production schedules
● Owns resource and workflow tracking within Airtable and related tools
● Ensures stakeholders are adhering to workflows and process standards
Routing & Stakeholder Coordination
● Manages compliance routes and facilitates feedback as needed
● Communicates notes to internal teams and external vendors
● Maintains clear cross-functional communication
● Liaises with Campaign Management on flow of information for social
Delivery & Compliance
● Traffics final deliverables from vendors as needed
● Liaises with legal, compliance, localization, and production teams
● Manages invoice submissions and vendor documentation as needed
Qualifications
● 3-5 years of project management or production experience in media or multiplatform field
● Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
● Ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot quickly
● Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface and thrive within a deadline-oriented, fast-paced and creative environment
● Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
● Comfortable working with senior executives and cross‑functional teams
● Proactive, resourceful, and solutions‑oriented mindset
● Ideal candidate will possess initiative, show flexibility, and be a team player.
Technical & Practical Skills
● Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace
● Proficiency working with Airtable and other project management tools
● Understanding of digital, social, or creative work strongly preferred
Additional Details
● Full-Time Freelance role, hours may vary based on business needs but assume 40 hour work week
● LA based with in‑office presence required
