Special Effects Artist and Animator, Journeyman

• The Special Effects Artist/Animator will work as a member of the TechSolutions: STEEL team to create special effects and animations for modeling and simulation technologies, including:
• Traditional simulation and scene graphs
• Mixed-reality
• Game-based virtual environments
• Virtual and augmented realities, (VR, AR)

• One (1) Year or more experience with creating special effects or animations using film, video, computers, or other electronic tools and media for use in products, such as computer games, training systems, movies, music videos, and commercials.
• Experience with 3D Modeling, Texturing, Digital Sculpting Retopology, 3D Animation, Lighting Hard Surface Texturing.
• Experience creating 3D assets while having them Textured and ready to be used in engines such as Unity or Unreal.
• Experience with design tools such as: Maya Substance Painter, Adobe Photoshop, Unity, Unreal Engine.
• Able to generate game-ready 3D digital twins using CAD, photo references, point clouds, and other source material.
• Proficient in gathering source data using various means, including 3D scanners and digital cameras.

• AA/AS/Certificate/degree in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, or related areas.
• OR,  Three (3) years practical experience with No degree.

• Secret Clearance, or ability to attain an interim Secret clearance prior to employment.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
