KEVIN is hiring a VFX/CG Coordinator, with a strong knowledge of CG pipelines. This role works closely with our CG team to interface between the CG Department leads and Producers, as well as Coordinating non-CG projects.


This is an on-site role, with 5 days a week working from our office in West LA.


Project Management:

  • Coordinate with the VFX supervisors and producers to ensure timelines are met and production is on track.
  • Maintain project schedules, deadlines, and milestones for the VFX process.
  • Track the progress of VFX shots, ensuring timely delivery and proper allocation of resources.
  • Prepare and update status reports for producers, tracking the progress of VFX work, revisions, and deliverables. 


Coordinate and track feedback and revisions from the client, director, and VFX supervisor.

  • Coordinate client calls with the VFX Producer - making sure the internal team members are aware of the call time, have the meeting link, preparing the call location (zoom, conference room, etc), etc. This may require a 15 minute alert to all internal attendees. 
  • Maintain clear documentation of project details, including shot lists, asset lists, and revisions. 
  • Disseminate feedback / notes to the appropriate team members, and ensuring they are clear on their assigned tasks. 
  • Ensure that all relevant information is accurately communicated and recorded in project management tools or databases. Update and maintain shotgun with the VFX leads & Producer. 


Oversee the organization and management of digital assets and media

  • Track and manage assets as they move through different stages of the VFX pipeline.
  • Ingesting assets to the server and sending the paths to the producer/team - i.e. audio, artwork, shoot photos / hdri’s / boards / locations, stock footage requests, reference images/videos, design WIPs, etc. 
  • Managing outsource requests - tracking, roto, paint work going in/out of the facility. 
  • Ingesting outsource files, and making sure they are sent to the correct artist. 
  • Tracking drives and footage. 
  • Ensure proper file naming conventions are maintained for all assets.


Postings/Deliveries /QC

  • Create posting links and work with the VFX leads to write up accompanying notes to be sent by the VFX Producer. 
  • Perform Quality Control checks for all postings and deliveries going out of the facility. Ensuring they are to the correct spec, visually watching the files and ensuring there are no technical errors, confirming notes have been addressed, etc. 
  • Prepping for delivery - letting Andy know when we will be delivering, organizing the delivery specs and slates. 
  • Archiving the finals to the masters folder. 


Salary estimate: $50,000 to $70,000 / year
