CriticBridge is a marketplace connecting independent filmmakers with professional film critics for paid, editorially independent reviews. We're onboarding RT-approved and equivalent professional critics to claim assignments on their own schedule.
How it works
- Browse available films and self-assign the ones you want to review
- Watch the screener, write your review, publish it under your own byline on your own platform (Substack, Letterboxd, personal site, or affiliated outlet)
- Submit the published URL through the critic portal to trigger payout
- Get paid via PayPal after verification
What we pay
- Filmmakers set per-review pricing; $25 minimum, $75 minimum on RT-Approved listings
- Critics keep 90% on RT-Approved assignments, 90% on standard
- No assignment caps — take as many as you can deliver on time
Who we're looking for
- Rotten Tomatoes-approved critics, or equivalent professional credentials
- Active publishing presence (outlet, Substack, blog, or similar)
- Comfortable meeting deadlines and writing honest, independent reviews
- What we require
- Editorial independence: payment is for labor and time, not for positive reviews
- NDA compliance on screeners and unreleased materials
- Reviews delivered by the filmmaker's stated deadline
