Weekend Anchor / MMJ

WKOW-TV, the ABC affiliate in beautiful Madison, WI has an opening for a bright, motivated news anchor who also loves to report.

In this role, you would anchor our weekend evening newscasts and report as a multimedia journalist three days a week.

We are looking for a competitive journalist who focuses on breaking news and live elements. You should have strong anchoring, reporting, producing, writing and editing skills as well as the ability to give clear live reports on the desk and in the field.

Everyone on our team not only produces content for television, but also our digital, mobile and social platforms.

Applications must have a degree in journalism or a related multi-media field and at least one year of broadcast experience.
