Job Description
- Assist with script and concept development for client commercial needs - within available resources/budget, frequently acting as videographer and/or online editor, with postproduction duties including graphics, motion graphics, animation, color correction, audio mixing & sweetening
- Accommodate commercial production requests – pre-production through post-production, coordinating delivery of any outside duplication, including FTP procedures for client spot delivery
- Archive commercial spots, footage and offline editorial material
- Assist Creative Services, as well as Sales, Engineering, and News staff with production or post-production issues as needed
- Assist account executives and clients with conceptualizing and executing advertising campaigns that benefit clients within budget guidelines
- Assist with ensuring projects are on schedule and meeting client deadlines
- Assist with concept & production of client ads for digital platforms
- Liaison with sales department, clients, ad, and marketing agencies as needed to ensure content is produced and airs correctly
- Additional related duties as needed
- Travel will be required for this position. Must possess valid Driver’s License and have clean driving record as determined by Company Policy. (Driving record will be checked)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Work with time sensitive information under tight deadlines and in pressure situations. Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to manipulate and operate personal computers, telephones and general office equipment (telephone, copier, etc.) for extended periods. Ability to see, read, hear and speak clearly and follow both oral and written direction. An ability to think quickly and to articulate information in clear, concise manner to others. Ability to sit for extended periods. Must be able to lift and carry camera, support and lighting equipment up to 50lbs. Average pushing and pulling, bending and stooping. Must be a hands-on writer/producer, extremely creative shooter, editor, and writer. Should be familiar with a variety of EFP HD/DSLR cameras, audio, lighting and grip equipment for television/film. Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite required. Should have demonstrated proficiency in graphic design, both in TV productions and online content. Must be able to show writing, producing and design experience on all media platforms. Excellent communication, organization, and writing skills are required. Must possess exceptional customer service skills. Works in a team environment with clients, sales staff, and station production personnel.
