Disney Cruise Line (DCL) Marketing Strategy is a vibrant, fast-moving team that drives both short- and long-term business goals that include growing consumer demand and bookings, strengthening our brand and differentiation, and driving commercial value. The team also leads Marketing and Sales go-to-market strategies partnering closely with other Marketing and Sales functions as well as partners in other functions like Public Relations, Operations, Finance, Revenue Management, Port Strategy, Entertainment, and Walt Disney Imagineering.

The Marketing Strategy Associate on the Disney Cruise Line team will support the development of priority marketing initiatives to deliver business goals, guiding communication planning rooted in consumer insights, sound creative judgment and go-to-market innovative programs. This position will also be responsible for managing programs that range from awareness to conversion for the overall fleet and specific itineraries and will support short-term and long-term strategies and campaigns.

Responsibilities range from project management to ownership of strategic work streams from conception, go-to-market, and after-action-review.

This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Strategy for Disney Cruise Line.

This is a Full-Time position.

You Will:

  • Drive annual business results by supporting marketing programs that incorporate strategic planning, critical thinking, analytics, and innovation.

  • Support Disney Cruise Line growth through strong communication planning and brand management.

  • Champion development of marketing plans by leading cross discipline teams.

  • Prepare reports, presentations and strategic input

  • Exhibit strong partnership skills that can effectively influence Marketing discipline teams in input, planning and creative decision-making to drive results, cohesion and speed to market.

  • Serve as the hub for website communications, partnering with the Digital team, to enhance content that will increase performance.

  • Leverage consumer insights, analyze and interpret data to recommend marketing and business opportunities.

  • Support tactical planning, in partnership with PR, promotions, broadcast, media, digital and creative teams, to achieve seamless execution of marketing communication plans.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent.

  • Critical thinking to succinctly frame up a verbal or written POV to influence leaders, partners and peers.

  • Capacity to project manage a high-volume, fast-paced portfolio of tactical programs balancing strategies, details and budgets.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Strong partnership and influencing skills to develop productive partnerships in and out of Marketing and foster a collaborative and inclusive environment.

  • Goal orientated and agile response to evolving business needs.

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word)

Additional Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of consumer marketing experience

  • Previous work experience in Marketing Strategy, Consumer Package Goods Brand Manager, Advertising Account Manager, Business/Program Manager.
