As a Communications Planner for Apple Services you will partner with cross-functional teams to develop integrated customer marketing strategies across core channels for our various businesses. Using an objective and insights-led approach, you will help to define the customer journey to develop channel relevant communications plans. Connecting and influencing key stakeholders to help deliver those plans at scale. You will collaborate with teams including brand, advertising, organic social, content, creative and analytics to ensure relevant communications that are performance based, audience first, on time and on budget. To thrive in this role, you should understand market trends, consumer research, platform insights and comprehensive consumer paths, ultimately leading to strategies that effectively connect our services to our consumers. With a focus on paid and organic digital channels (TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube, programmatic display media etc), as well as offline media. This position will work with leaders to ensure strategies are aligned with brand nuances, taking into account successful executions, results and the desire to innovate. You will be joining a team of forward-thinking channel owners and marketing specialists who work collaboratively with extraordinary marketing and creative talent to launch services and marketing programs and tackle complex marketing challenges.

Key Qualifications

  • You have a minimum of 7-10 years experience as a Connections Planner, communications planner or strategist.
  • Deep experience leveraging customer-centric tools such journey maps, personas, insights and opportunity assessments to advance work.
  • Experience writing communication plans and creative functional briefs that carry a strategic thread from strong objectives to actionable and measurable metrics.
  • Adept at identifying opportunities to incorporate systems thinking. Ability to design communication plans that use flexible, modular content for easy distribution and adoption across different environments.
  • Ability to identify quantitative and qualitative insight opportunities to better understand consumer needs, and articulate opportunities in clear briefs to analytic and research teams.
  • Highly skilled at summarizing findings, from research efforts to campaign performance, through concise and compelling presentations.
  • Skilled at unpacking ambiguous problems to gain clarity and proactively look for ways to develop a clear direction.

Description

You should be comfortable being part of large project teams and eager to tackle opportunities both big and small. This role will respond to briefs and seek opportunities to lead the creation of new briefs. Bringing in-depth experience planning workshops to gain, synthesize, and clarify information from creative and business partners. Outstanding collaboration, inspired by group critique, with proven proficiency in integrated comms planning across touch-points online and off with the ability to deliver clear, concise briefs to creative teams.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $104,000 and $202,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
