Job Description
The full-time Production Control Room Operator is responsible for various television production duties required to create scenes for live and recorded broadcasts.
- Adjusts positions and controls of cameras to change focus as requested by director.
- Composes and frames camera shots, applying the technical aspects of light, lenses and camera settings to achieve the effects sought by directors.
- Operates studio cameras during live and recorded broadcasts.
- Sets up cameras and related equipment.
- Operates graphics and video for live and recorded broadcasts.
- Operates audio board for live and recorded broadcasts.
- Operates video switcher for live and recorded broadcasts.
- Confers with directors and other crew members to discuss sequences and desired effects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills:
- Fluency in English
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Pay Range: $31,200-$35,360
