The Role

Minimum 3 days in the office, per the department’s schedule.



Key Responsibilities


  • Monthly closing procedures to ensure accuracy of financial reporting
  • Preparation of monthly financial reporting packages for submission to group
  • Work with Business Partners to gather necessary Information for Financial Statement Preparation
  • Primary responsibility for balance sheet management, including balances with other group companies
  • Work with A/R, A/P and royalties and licensing teams to ensure accuracy of balances, and timely collection or payment
  • Account, analyze, and forecast for Productions and Ancillary businesses including revenue, costs, and deliveries
  • Assist Finance with billing for production funding
  • Assist Finance in updating production ultimates for costs and revenue from cost reports
  • Performs other financial analysis and support as required
  • Responsible for quarterly consolidation profit and loss account and balance sheet reporting
  • Preparation and compilation of audit documentation and assist in the statutory audit process
  • Work with distribution group to ensure accurate reporting of distribution revenues and costs
  • Overhead reporting, tracking, and forecasting
  • Devise and implement improvements to financial reporting
  • Other projects and duties as assigned


Essential Skills and Experience


  • Finance, Accounting or Business Administration degree required
  • CPA Qualified Accountant preferred with experience within a finance function
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience; Television production experience preferred
  • Confident and enthusiastic team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analysis capability
  • Strong working experience and knowledge of EPR systems, preferably SAP and Business Warehouse; experience with production accounting software is a plus
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and manage priorities




The pay rate for this position is between $105,000 - $115,000/annually, exclusive of any bonuses or other incentive compensation (if any).
