Post-Production Supervisor (Remote)

OpenLight is a Bay Area–based commercial and corporate production company, and we’re hiring a Post-Production Supervisor to take full ownership of our post workflow.

We’re looking for someone highly organized, proactive, and detail-driven who can manage timelines, lead editors, communicate with clients, and keep multiple projects moving smoothly. You’ll oversee the post process from ingest through final delivery and ensure every video is delivered on time and at a high creative standard.

This role is fully remote.

Responsibilities

Oversee the full post-production pipeline across all commercial and corporate video projects.
Serve as the primary post-production point of contact for clients, managing timelines, communication, revisions, and expectations.
Assign tasks to in-house and freelance editors; ensure deadlines, quality control, and consistency across all edits.
Track all deliverables, revisions, and milestones using Monday.com, Frame.io, and Google Drive.
Perform complete QC on all cuts and exports, checking audio, pacing, color, branding, and technical specs.
Manage 5–15 active projects simultaneously while keeping each organized and on schedule.
Maintain clean folder structures, naming conventions, and long-term archiving systems.
Work closely with directors and producers to ensure edits align with the creative and strategic vision.
Identify potential bottlenecks early and adjust timelines or resources as needed.
Improve internal workflows by updating SOPs, templates, and systems as the company grows.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Post-Production Supervisor, Post Producer, or Post Coordinator with leadership responsibilities.
Strong understanding of commercial/corporate video editing workflows.
Proficiency with Frame.io, Monday.com, and Google Drive.
Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere (for workflow understanding; not required to edit).
Confident communicator who can manage clients professionally and effectively.
Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple projects on tight timelines.
Strong ownership mentality with the ability to work independently without micromanagement.

Location

Fully remote.
(Occasional on-site needs for specific shoots may come up, but this is rare.)

Compensation

Hourly rate based on experience.
Part-time to start, with growth potential.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
