Job Description
Ventureland is an Academy Award-nominated independent creative studio that specializes in developing original entertainment properties spanning traditional and emerging media platforms, including theatrical, streaming, podcasts, and more. We’re currently seeking an Executive Assistant to support our Head of Film. The successful candidate will have strong experience supporting an executive to a C-Suite level in the entertainment industry and has interest in scripted film development.

Responsibilities:
- Will support an extremely busy Executive
- Excellent phone/email management skills and etiquette
- Coordinate and provide support for meetings, events, and conferences
- Manage all scheduling and calendar for Executive
- Heavy travel planning & coordination
- Draft and edit business correspondence
- Prepare and submit expense reports and purchasing requests (some personal)
- Prepare presentations for internal/external meetings
- Maintains standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents
- Maintain an awareness of the Executive's obligations in order to proactively assist and/or anticipate needs
Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 3+ years supporting an Executive in an administrative capacity at a Production Company, Agency or Studio
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with Google docs and dropbox
- Demonstrated proficiency with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate overtime as needed
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, respond quickly to shifting priorities and function in a demanding environment with competing and changing priorities
- Experience building and maintaining filing systems and organizing and maintaining large amounts of data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A self-starter who is able to work both independently and function well within a team
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment where flexibility, keeping others informed and anticipating needs is essential
- Strong analytical capabilities and judgment
- Detail oriented, organized and able to multitask
