Freelance Assistant Editor

FreshFly is seeking an assistant editor to work on the second season of an unscripted television miniseries. The AE will be responsible for project setup, including media management, syncing footage and ordering transcripts. This miniseries is graphics heavy, and the AE will be responsible for communication between the editing team and the graphics artists, maintaining a GFX asset spreadsheet, and ensuring the latest graphics make it into the edit. The AE may also be asked to support the editors by finding assets on stock photography and music sites. During delivery, the AE will help prepare the show for finishing and delivery, maintaining quality control at each step.

Candidates should be experienced with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere and Media Encoder, and should be motivated, detail oriented, organized and responsible. A knowledge of and interest in sports is also preferred—let us know your favorite team(s) in your cover letter!
