Background:
The Coordinator, Fan Engagement will work closely with members of the Fan Engagement team, the Growth Marketing Team, and other NHL departments to manage the day-to-day operations of Fan Engagement Platforms, such as All-Star Fan Vote, NHL Bracket Challenge, NHL Bingo, Pepsi Zero Sugar NHL Goalie Challenge, and all other digital engagement games. Additionally, the Coordinator will work on campaign and platform performance, analysis and recap reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in execution of marketing campaigns for Fan Engagement programs including the All-Star Fan Vote, Stanley Cup Playoffs Bracket Challenge, NHL Fan Access app and additional free-to-play games
  • Work with sponsorship to align on promotional support required for each marketing partner
  • Consult with partners and internal business units on content creation to keep messaging consistent and optimized
  • Manage timelines for content delivery and distribution across other departments and Clubs
  • Develop documentation as needed related to digital creative best practices, including industry trends, competitive analysis, and testing results for the league and clubs
  • Stay current on industry trends and provide relevant insights to the NHL organization
  • Assist in creation of recap materials in coordination with sponsorship and analytics teams

Qualifications:
  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with customer-facing engagement initiatives
  • Must have strong understanding of hockey (NHL, its Clubs, and players) is preferred
  • Have strong written and verbal communication (including editing) skills
  • Have the ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Have the ability to operate collaboratively across multiple business units and personalities, and desire to work in an environment without day-to-day micromanagement
  • Experience and familiarity working with social media data
  • Experience and comfort using Tableau is a plus
  • Experience and comfort using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Have excellent proof-reading and grammatical skills
  • Have excellent time management skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and teams
  • Have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Be highly motivated with ability to work independently with discretion

Salary Range:
$65k-$70k
