This role is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the planning and activation across multiple channels for China Sales, including Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), China Direct to Consumer (DTC) , and traditional wholesale channels etc. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and enhancing China Sales operational efficiency through effective planning and collaboration. The candidate will work as a contact person between China Sales and various LOBs to ensure key information, strategy and requirement are communicated to both sides seamlessly.
Responsibilities:
Consolidate various channels’ sales initiatives including, product request, promotion cadence, co operations plan, etc to ensure timely and effective communications with key stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration & quality implementation of sales strategies and plans across all channels.
Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Provide data and analysis support to help with China team’s communication with LOBs to design and implement promotional activities and campaigns to drive engagement and sales across all channels.
Work closely with various LOBs to align promotional efforts with overall sales strategy.
Coordinate with external partners and vendors to ensure successful execution of activations and promotions, collect data, insights and learning for the crucial campaigns.
Consolidate the market intelligence with highlights of insights and learnings for China Market.
Be a pivot of China products discussion and application to ensure products fit the market demands and aim for incrementality.
Contribute to the development of long-term sales strategies for mainland China.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
Identify new channel opportunities and recommend innovative approaches to enhance sales performance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years relevant experience in a project management role.
Strong communication, coordination and interpersonal skills, sound capability in analysis, consolidation, and presentation.
Experienced in working with cross functional or matrix working environments.
Understanding of tourism market and various Sales channels in China
Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English is required.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Regular domestic travel within China is required.
