AREA15 is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Head of Nightlife & Entertainment to lead and scale its immersive entertainment vertical, including all ticketed nightlife events and parties. This role owns AREA15’s nightlife and ticketed entertainment business, responsible for concept development, calendar strategy, artist relationships, venue P&Ls, and execution across Odyssey (Lost, Jazz Club, Distillery Bar), The Portal, The Wall, and The A-Lot.
This role balances commercial acumen with creative vision—managing internal teams, partner relationships, and third-party producers to ensure AREA15 delivers high-margin, brand-defining events. This leader must be obsessed with experience, talent-driven programming, and building a next-gen entertainment model that sets AREA15 apart from the Las Vegas status quo.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Develop and own the end-to-end strategy for AREA15’s nightlife and ticketed entertainment venues.
- Design an annual programming roadmap that balances high-profile events, community-driven shows, immersive art activations, and nightlife experiences.
- Own the P&L and revenue growth for the Nightlife & Entertainment vertical.
- Identify industry trends and audience insights to keep AREA15 at the forefront of live entertainment.
- Lead programming across all key venues: Odyssey, The Portal, The Wall, and A-Lot.
- Curate a diverse lineup of DJs, musicians, performance artists, and experience curators.
- Collaborate with the Studio team to integrate AREA15’s creative brand narrative into entertainment offerings.
- Manage artist relations and ensure seamless talent experiences.
- Own all business metrics: ticket sales, bar revenue, sponsorship yield, and labor cost efficiency.
- Partner with CRO and Head of Ticketing to optimize pricing, bundling, and promotional strategies.
- Work cross-functionally with Studio and Marketing teams to drive conversions, deepen audience engagement, and align with brand objectives.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of producers, bookers, venue managers, and hospitality staff.
- Oversee operational execution, including permitting, compliance, safety, and venue readiness.
- Ensure a best-in-class guest journey across VIP services, bar operations, production, and back-of-house.
- Act as a visible, hands-on leader during high-impact events and activations.
- Support the expansion of entertainment into District 2 and future districts, helping to adapt and evolve immersive experiences across newly developed spaces within AREA15.
- Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute entertainment that aligns with the vision of District 2’s evolution.
- Contribute to the creative planning and activation of future District 2 initiatives, ensuring continuity with AREA15’s brand ethos and guest experience standards.
- Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction.
- Be available to respond to time-sensitive matters.
- Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards.
- Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- 8–12+ years of leadership experience in nightlife, live events, or experiential entertainment.
- Proven success in P&L ownership, talent booking, and revenue-driving strategies.
- Strong network in entertainment, nightlife, and creative industries—especially in Las Vegas.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and vendor negotiation skills.
- Experience overseeing cross-functional teams and delivering complex productions.
- Thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced, and creative environment.
- Willingness to work nontraditional hours and hands-on with build/install crews when needed.
- Background in immersive or interactive entertainment environments preferred.
- Familiarity with experiential marketing, hybrid event formats, and tech-integrated experiences preferred
- Proficiency in ticketing, CRM, and performance analytics platforms preferred.
- Thrive working in a creative, entrepreneurial environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, wind, rain, extreme cold.
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
- Computer skills in Microsoft applications. (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
