This is a founding-level production and storytelling command role.

As Chief Creative Officer, you are the force behind our original content—leading the strategy, systems, and standards for everything we ship across anime, interactive media, simulations, and IP-native formats.

You will build the pipelines.

You will scale the teams.

You will deliver world-class content—narratively, visually, and emotionally charged.

This is not just about storytelling. It’s about story-producing at a generational level.

Minimum commitment: 20 hours/week. If you can’t lead a global team of elite creators with fire and follow-through, this isn’t your studio.

This is an equity partner role. That means:

No upfront cash compensation
Equity (shares) at founding partner level (vesting standard)
Future token-based rewards (pending legal review)
Salary activates with revenue-based milestones

This is a full-stack production command role.

You will build and scale original content from zero to global IP.

You will lead the execution of our anime, storyworlds, lore, motion media, trailers, simulcontent, and multi-format assets—from concept to release.

Overview

We are recruiting a Chief Creative Officer to lead content production at Anime Universe.

You’ll run point on developing, managing, and shipping our most important content—from serialized anime and immersive trailers to simulation-native media and high-impact promotional drops. You will work closely with the CEO, R&D, AI, and worldbuilding teams to ensure the creative output of the studio is elite, coherent, scalable, and emotionally powerful.

You will turn vision into volume—without compromising quality.

What You’ll Own

Architect the entire content production pipeline: concept, scripting, visual dev, animation, post
Lead production of anime, trailers, world lore, visual content, music integration, and branded media
Define the creative standards, workflows, and infrastructure for a fully-remote, async-native creative org
Translate IP bible and narrative system into serialized, consumable, and monetizable content formats
Collaborate with AI/simulation teams to build content that is co-generated or dynamically produced
Own and evolve the release calendar, content milestones, production sprints, and quality bar
Build and scale a distributed creative team: writers, designers, editors, VFX, motion animators, etc.
Manage outsourcing, vendor pipelines, and cross-team delivery for complex media stacks
Maintain fidelity to the Anime Universe mythos while optimizing for distribution and repeatability

What We’re Looking For

10+ years in creative production leadership across anime, games, visual storytelling, or digital content
Experience shipping high-quality content at scale—especially animation, motion graphics, or interactive narrative media
Proven track record running end-to-end production across multiple formats (episodic, trailers, BTS, promos, worldbuilding assets)
Deep knowledge of creative tooling stacks (Blender, Adobe Suite, Unreal, Toon Boom, etc.) and pipeline integration
Experience leading distributed creative teams with async workflows and rapid iteration cycles
A production brain with a creator’s heart—you understand how to balance beauty, timelines, and ROI
Deep affinity for anime, simulation culture, internet-native storytelling, and emotionally intelligent content
Bonus: Background in IP management, creative ops, or building studios from scratch
