DESCRIPTION:

Division Overview:

Our social and content teams are responsible for developing and producing compelling stories—as told through video, editorial, and social platforms—that promote programming for both CBS and CBS All Access. Regardless of the medium, our team also optimizes the best of CBSi's content to drive fan acquisition, engagement, and retention by using data analytics, analyzing the competitive landscape, and recognizing opportunities for innovation in this always-on world.

Role Details:

The Spring 2021 Social Media Intern will help create engaging social media content in support of our reality shows such as The Amazing Race and Survivor. The ideal candidate will regularly gather data on consumer, competitor, and market conditions in the social media space. This person will get immediate, hands-on experience on a lean team and also have many opportunities to see their social ideas come to life.

Your Day-to-Day:

Plan and execute social media strategy across brands

Produce creatives, both static and video, primarily for social

Brainstorm ideas for TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

Research and write content for our Entertainment brands (The Amazing Race, Undercover Boss)

Engage with fans across social and monitor what they are saying about our shows

Stay up-to-date on social media trends and develop ideas to capitalize on these moments

Logistics:

This is a paid internship and can also be for university credit if it meets your university's guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team:

You have -

Proficiency in Photoshop and Premiere Pro

Experience creating custom static and video content for social

A passion for digital media

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and time management skills; attendance and punctuality is a requirement

Proficiency in MS Office and Google suite

You might also have -

Prior experience in a professional environment

Prior marketing experience

Experience in managing social accounts on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter

Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or bootcamp

Must be at least 18 years old
