Here's a Summary Of Responsibilities

The Manager of Content Operations will lead and coordinate key functions within the content and production team, including content planning, workflow management, editorial calendar oversight, budget tracking, and stakeholder alignment. This role serves as a central hub for operational excellence, ensuring that all content initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the strategic goals of Brand and Fan Engagement. The Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to build and streamline processes and support the growth of Team USA’s content ecosystem.

Here’s How You’ll Have An Impact

  • Content Production Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of content production, including scoping, crewing, budgeting, logistics, and drive delivery. Ensure alignment across the content team, creative team, and production resources.
  • Team USA Studio Logistics Support: Partner with production teams to coordinate logistics for domestic and international shoots, including travel, securing locations, leading set builds, permitting, call sheets, and periodic on sight support.
  • Production Calendar Oversight: Maintain and optimize the production calendar. Establish and refine logistics processes around productions, including production memo templates, call sheets, and distribution formats.   • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as liaison between Content, Creative, Marketing, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of multi-faceted productions. Coordinate with logistic teams across the organization to ensure content team success at larger events.
  • Budget & Vendor Management: Manage departmental budgets including forecasting, tracking, reconciliation, invoice processing, contract initiation and oversight, and vendor setup and onboarding. Collaborate with operational lead across Content team and broader Brand & Fan Engagement team to ensure fiscal accountability. Establish and maintain a vendor database for a variety of production needs.
  • Content Systems & Tools: Lead the implementation and optimization of management systems (Monday.com and additional tools) to ensure integrated workflows within the content team and with cross-functional collaborators, including the creative team and broader organization stakeholders.
  • Presentation & Reporting: Develop and deliver presentations for leadership, partners, and internal stakeholders that communicate operational plans for the content team for individual shoots as well as broader integrated content plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, broadcasting, digital multimedia or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years’ experience as a production manager or line producer
  • 5+ years’ experience working with production, international production experience preferred
  • Proven track record managing complex logistic workflows and cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge in the field of Olympic, Paralympic, and/or large sporting events preferred
  • Experience working with multiple agencies and production partners on simultaneous projects
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to navigate technical details while also maintaining high level oversight
  • Proficiency in Monday.com, PowerPoint, and other collaboration tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinker with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Understanding of asset management workflows
  • Passion for sports storytelling and the Olympic & Paralympic movements

  • Hiring pay range $62,672 - $79,593 per year
  • This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
  • Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 15% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
