Seeking intelligent, articulate, self-starting fulltime assistant for award-winning writer with projects in theatre, film, music, and television.

While position includes typical personal assisting duties, it also involves script work, editing, research, scheduling, social media managing, and development work. Position includes frequent travel, with extended stays (predominantly in LA and London).

Applicant must be able to shift easily between creative tasks and general assisting duties while maintaining a “no task too small” attitude. The position includes a great deal of creative back and forth, so a breadth of knowledge and experience in various areas of entertainment and literature is desirable.

Applicant must know Final Draft, Microsoft Word, and iCloud. Experience in social media management is a plus -- as is an ability to read music. A valid driver's license is required. Experience in theatre is strongly encouraged.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in working with the Broadway or film communities. Work is in person in New York City. Six months’ assisting experience is strongly recommended. Salary is commensurate with experience.
