Job Description
Description
Amazon’s Devices Design Group has launched iconic products like Echo, Fire TV, and Alexa. We’re seeking a Principal Film/Creative Director to partner with VPs and senior leaders to set the creative vision for product storytelling across the organization — blending live action, CG, VFX, photography, AI filmmaking, editing, and post-production into cinematic narratives that inspire, align, and influence at the highest levels.
This role will be instrumental in building and refining a hybrid production pipeline that unites live action, CG, and AI-driven workflows to communicate product vision. You will define storytelling approaches, establish scalable processes, and create high-fidelity narratives that make complex ideas tangible. From early-stage concept films to strategy-shaping content, your work will help leadership see the future more clearly, align teams, and engage customers. Your expertise will include directing live action productions, collaborating with VFX and CG teams, working closely with AI artists, and leading projects with multi-disciplinary creative teams.
You’ll collaborate with producers to plan and execute shoots, be hands-on during production, and partner with AI artists and technical teams to integrate AI tools seamlessly into pre-production, production, and post-production. These collaborations will accelerate speed, expand creative possibilities, and raise the quality bar for product storytelling. You will also partner closely with Amazon’s Devices Brand Studio, contributing to shared storytelling initiatives.
