are you great at coding, have a knack for Discord + creating RSS feeds? MEmusic. is looking for a remote MEmusic.meet Discord optimization intern to join our team 🥳. we’re looking for an engaging, detail oriented, creative, tech, research + Discord savvy intern with a passion for the music industry + the time to commit to an unpaid fully remote internship in exchange for academic credit to grow + engage with our MEmusic.meet community through this niche tech based role 👩🏾‍💻

Discord coding interns must be:

- a member of MEmusic.meet + familiar with our community/purpose

- enthusiastic about MEmusic. + MEmusic.meet’s mission + values

- familiar with Discord, Discord bots + how to create/modify them for server automation

- enthusiastic about implementing ways to engage + scale our community

- skilled in researching + coding relevant music industry additions to our server

- great at working independently

- detail oriented, proactive, organized, + attentive

- passionate about the music industry

- available 15 hours a week working remotely

- able to take this internship for school credit as it’s an unpaid internship

intern qualifications

**someone specifically skilled in creating/coding RSS feeds for various websites + having the corresponding info feed into our Discord server -> if you haven’t you’re determined to learn**
someone familiar with how to create + engage with Discord bots
someone confident, comfortable + good at communicating with others joyfully
someone with great research skills
someone who is interested in the music industry

job responsibilities:

researching, strategizing + implementing ways to grow our Discord community/make our server more efficient + organized from a tech perspective
researching, ideating, creating + implementing relevant Discord bots to enhance/automate our server
making sure rss feeds are maintained/functioning optimally in our server

reposting social posts to LinkedIn
engaging with community members
moderating the community to make sure everyone is staying on topic + respectful in the respective channels
researching relevant Discord bots to enhance our server

TikTok growth marketing intern role

are you looking to get into the music industry and spend your nights scrolling through TikTok? MEmusic. is looking for a remote tiktok intern to join their team for the spring 2025 semester 🥳. we’re looking for a detail oriented, creative, TikTok savvy intern who loves to be on camera, with a passion for the music industry, and the time to commit to an unpaid fully remote internship in exchange for academic credit.

TikTok growth marketing interns must be:

- skilled in social media growth marketing, specifically TikTok

- comfortable being on camera

- skilled in creating short form videos

- skilled in editing short form video

- comfortable creating strategic content calendars that drive growth/followers/engagement

- great at working independently

- detail oriented, proactive, organized, + attentive

- confident, comfortable + good at communicating

- passionate about the music industry

researching/implementing current + successful social media trends + marketing tactics
reposting content to reels, + youtube shorts
strategizing + executing marketing campaigns
observing analytics/datasets from TikTok, discerning info + implementing strategic insights
creating strategic tiktok content calendars that promote follower growth + new clients
filming/creating, editing, and posting TikToks
responding to comments/DMs on TikTok
maintaining spreadsheet organization

A+R intern role

are you someone who dreams of researching + listening to music all day? MEmusic. is looking for a remote A+R intern to join their team 🥳. we’re looking for detail oriented, creative, discerning, + research savvy interns with a passion for the music industry, + the time to commit to an unpaid fully remote internship in exchange for academic credit 💫

A+R interns must:

- be skilled in several methods of researching various songwriters viable for collaboration

- be skilled in several methods of researching various DJs viable for collaboration

- have an ear for music in various genres

- have a vast knowledge of music theory, DJing, DJ Software, DAWs +/or eager to learn

- have great time management skills

- have great organizational skills

- have great research skills

- be detail oriented, proactive, organized, + attentive

- be confident, comfortable + good at communicating with others (clients)

- be passionate about the music industry

- be available 15 hours a week working remotely

sorting through MEmusic.monday playlist submissions
creating/updating the MEmusic.monday playlist weekly according to various themes
researching, discovering + contacting viable songwriters/producers who are interested in our song plugging services
researching/calling venues for RXPARATIONS
researching/discovering + drafting write ups for DJs viable for RXPARATIONS’ podcast (coming soon)
downloading music + organizing music libraries
listening to various DJ sets + creating setlists based on when the music is featured in the mix using Shazam weekly
researching relevant/trending/funny meme cover art that’s applicable to the mood of various DJ sets weekly
ideating 10 mash up ideas weekly to assist our DJ clients
communicating with songwriters, producers, artists + DJ Clients
maintaining spreadsheet organization
researching + communicating various contacts that could be viable for collaboration
