Senior Vice President, Sales and Business Development (Film & TV Production Studio)
Position Summary :
The Senior Vice President (SVP), Sales and Business Development (Film & TV Production Studio) will lead the strategic direction and execution of sales initiatives for a dynamic Film and TV Production Studio based in Yonkers. This executive-level role is ideal for a results-driven leader with deep knowledge and sales experience in the Film & TV production industry, exceptional sales acumen, and a collaborative mindset. The SVP will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding client relationships, and ensuring operational alignment with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience selling Film and TV production studio projects and managing productions in these studios. They will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales in Film and TV production studios, who can manage the full sales lifecycle—from strategy development and lead generation to deal closure and client retention—while working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless production project delivery and resource optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Film & TV Production Studio Sales Strategy Development and Execution
- Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the studio goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capture them.
- Set and monitor studio sales targets and KPIs.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management
- Lead efforts to acquire new clients and accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with media, entertainment and film and tv production industry key stakeholders and partners
- Represent the studio in high-level client meetings and negotiations.
Operational Collaboration and Resource Management
- Partner with cross functional teams to align sales with studio capacity and timelines.
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources to meet client and project needs.
Project Scope and Delivery Alignment
- Oversee the alignment of production studio sales commitments with production project scopes and delivery capabilities.
- Ensure client expectations are clearly defined and met throughout the production lifecycle.
Sales Forecasting and Operational Planning
- Develop accurate sales forecasts for studio and contribute to long-term business planning.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to executive leadership.
Process Optimization and Efficiency
- Identify and implement improvements in studio sales and operational workflows.
- Leverage data and analytics to drive decision-making and performance.
Budget and Cost Management
- Manage studio sales budgets and ensure cost-effective strategies.
- Monitor financial performance and adjust production studio sales plans as needed to meet revenue goals.
Health Safety and Compliance
- Ensure all sales and operational activities comply with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Promote a culture of safety, integrity, and accountability.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 10+ years of senior-level experience in sales for Film and TV Production Studios and production industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets for Film and TV studio production projects.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex deals.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and managing high-value client relationships
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Deep understanding of Film and TV production workflows, production studio operations, and client service models.
- Abreast with TV and Film production industry trends, key players, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies
- Comfortable using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and project management tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

- Must be willing to work on-site in Yonkers, New York
- Must be willing to work late evenings, and holidays or weekends per business need and to meet the demands of a Studio Production Environment.
- Must be willing to travel as needed, sometimes on short notice, including to other MEDIAPRO locations, industry events, clients, trade shows, seminars, and classes.
