Qualifications
Candidates should have an on-going career as a screenwriter and a significant body of work of produced narrative films, episodic television and/or streaming platforms. While teaching experience at the university level is preferred, the demonstrable capacity to translate one's professional experience into dynamic teaching is also acceptable. Evidence of artistic achievement is also required. In addition to having a significant body of professional creative work, the candidate will be prepared to participate fully in the program as well as in other functions of the University, as required. Faculty members will teach 5 courses per year, advise and mentor graduate students, and participate in departmental and/or school-wide committees. Ongoing professional work is encouraged and expected.
