Position Summary
Responsible for the production of all home athletics events and in-venue events across three campus venues. Create graphics, videos, and motion graphics and upload them to Daktronics Show Control and ScoreVision. Work with QLab, Adobe Suite, OBS, Abekas Mira Replay System, Spiideo, and other production equipment and cameras. Film and edit various video projects and press conferences, manage video servers, and archive video requests. Hire, train, staff, and oversee production crew for events. Work with sponsorship partners and marketing department on script writing, organization, and printing. Work with other teams and constituents to obtain multimedia for our videoboard systems and work with the respective leagues and partners on the streaming backend and other duties as assigned.

Duties:
Produce athletic events, games, and in-venue events across all three athletic venues. Hire, train, and schedule production staff. Ensure that pregame preparation and checklists are completed. Create highlight packages, disperse, and upload. Oversee music playlists and related staffing.

Create multimedia for video board and streaming systems, film and edit video projects and in-game/venue videos, and upload to video board systems. Film and edit weekly and post-game press conferences. Manage video server + video footage requests.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required Education
Associate’s Degree, preferably in related field of study.

Required Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of professional video editing experience.
  • Needs to be proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop. Must know how to operate Daktronics and ScoreVision systems, QLab, and OBS.

Required License/Certification

Required Additional Qualifications:
Must be available and willing to work extended hours, including game days, nights, and weekends when needed. Ability to work with others in a creative and collaborative environment.

Preferred Education
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in related field of study.

Preferred Experience
Have a working knowledge and experience with directing, technical directing, replay operation and other live production positions
