abc27, part of Nexstar Media Inc., is seeking a talented and motivated News Photographer to join our team in the York County Bureau. This full-time position is primarily based in York County, PA, where you will play a critical role in capturing compelling visual content that drives our news coverage. As a News Photographer, you will work closely with reporters and producers to shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality video and photography for both on-air broadcasts and digital platforms. Essential Duties:

Shoot video for news reports, ensuring high-quality visuals that align with story needs.
Collaborate with reporters, producers, and other personnel to discuss assignments, logistics, and shot requirements.
Set up, compose, and execute video shots in the field, ensuring coverage of all angles and necessary footage.
Maintain video equipment in good working condition, ensuring functionality and readiness for use in all situations.
Edit video clips for television broadcasts and digital platforms, ensuring timely delivery of polished content.
Operate live microwave and satellite trucks in remote locations, ensuring smooth broadcast during live events.
Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the efficient operation of the newsroom.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
Minimum of two years of experience operating video recording equipment (experience may vary based on market size).
Proficiency with video recording equipment and editing software.
Familiarity with office equipment such as computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
