Korean Artist Liaison & Talent Management Coordinator
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a fluent or native Korean-speaking professional to serve as the Artist Liaison & Talent Management Coordinator for a major event featuring K-Pop artists. The event is on November 13th and 14th in NYC. This individual will act as the primary point of contact and project manager for all talent-related logistics, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between the artists, their agencies, our client, and the event production team.
The role will begin with a commitment of approximately 1-2 hours per week, increasing to 2-5 hours per week starting two months prior to the event. During the two event days, the position will require approximately 20 hours of on-site support each day.
Key Responsibilities
Artist & Crew Management:
Liaise with 3 K-Pop artists/bands and their teams (approx. 30 people total)
Serve as the main interpreter for non-English-speaking managers (3 anticipated)
Coordinate with band members, backup dancers, and agency staff
Pre-Event Coordination:
Manage international and domestic travel, accommodations, and ground transportation
Communicate technical and hospitality rider requirements between artist agencies and the event team
On-Site Management:
Act as the primary on-site contact for artists and agencies
Greet and assist artists at the airport/hotel; manage check-ins and per diem distribution
Coordinate transportation to/from the venue
Oversee interpreter assignments and communication
Ensure rider fulfillment and manage last-minute requests (e.g., fast-track services, meet & greets)
Qualifications
Fluent/native Korean speaker with strong English communication skills
Experience in artist relations, talent management, or live event production
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing high-profile talent
Able to work flexible hours and adapt to fast-paced environments
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
