We’re looking for a creative powerhouse to be our go-to digital storyteller and lead content creator, driving BJ’s presence across social media and beyond. You’ll be the creative force behind our social content engine, building compelling, scroll-stopping stories that shine across our social channels and extend seamlessly into email, website, and even digital signage inside our restaurants.
Responsibilities:
  • Create & Own Social Content: Develop content calendars, write copy, and produce dynamic photo/video content that brings BJ’s brand to life.
  • Capture the Magic: Visit restaurants regularly to shoot content featuring the atmosphere, food, drinks, people. You’ll be BJ’s lens into the guest experience.
  • Edit Like a Pro: Transform raw footage into polished reels and posts that are social-first but adaptable to email, website, and digital in-store displays.
  • Influencer Collaborations: Identify the right creators, manage partnerships, and lead content feedback to ensure it aligns with our brand vibe and strategy.
  • Be In the Know: Spot and react to trends quickly—social moments, foodie crazes, pop culture—to keep BJ’s always part of the conversation.
  • Measure & Optimize: Track performance, analyze engagement, and use insights to constantly elevate our content game.
  • Build the Community: Respond to guests, elevate the BJ’s voice, and help make our social channels a place guests love to connect with.
  • Ad-hoc Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned to support the marketing team.
Qualifications:
  • A creative mindset and strong visual eye—you love capturing what makes something craveable, celebratory, and share-worthy.
  • Expertise in photo/video production, with hands-on experience in tools like Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.
  • Fluency in social media best practices, analytics, and tools like Sprout Social or similar.
  • Experience crafting social-first content that’s also versatile enough for email, web banners, and in-store digital signage.
  • A natural storyteller with a sense of humor, energy, and emotional insight—you know how to make people feel something in 15 seconds or less.
  • Comfort with data and performance metrics—you can dig into dashboards, interpret trends, and translate engagement into actionable insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field.
  • Salary: Commensurate with experience
