Job Summary:
Help protect the magic of Disney by joining the Media & Licensing Sensitive Information Protection (SIP) team as the Content Security Operations Specialist, Disney Entertainment, SIP.
This role will report into the Senior Manager, International Operations, Sensitive Information Protection, based in the Los Angeles/Glendale area and be a key contributor of the Disney Entertainment team – the group responsible for developing and maintaining the SIP portfolio of products and services for both Television and Streaming Media (Disney+) services.
The Content Security Operations Specialist will work directly with the various SIP Managers, both locally and globally to coordinate the day-to-day management of the Disney Entertainment SIP vendors, third parties and production companies’ assessment program and to support all related initiatives – including but not limited to training and awareness, and event management, and KPI reporting.

Every day is unique as a Program Specialist, and depending on the day, you will…
- Collate new production related data (intake forms) and validate (production kickoff)
- Output data into production trackers (production management)
- Ensure that all security groups (Information Security, Production Security, Content Security and Health and Safety) are aligned (relationship management)
- Partner with Third Party assessment team to kick off assessments and schedule trainings
- Develop and implement ongoing road show trainings
- Create and update tools and resources for partners and vendors
- Analyze and optimize repeatable processes
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and related communication
- Engage with various manager to review existing methodologies and improve where possible
- Generate monthly KPI & reports (monthly PMO reports, screenings, etc.)
- Create ad-hoc quarterly reports and presentations as needed
- Partner with incident management team to provide support on incidents
- Assist in documenting leaks for reusability in training and provide support in creating quarterly leaks reports
Here is what you will need to be successful in the role…
- +3 years of professional experience in organizational management, communications, or similar fields
- Excellent written, verbal, editorial and presentation communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information effectively
- Proven ability to optimally collaborate with internal and external partners
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and fast-paced change driven by growth and client expectations
- Experience in presentation development and delivery
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and trends and learn new tools or skills
- Comfortable working both autonomously and in a collaborative environment
It would be a plus if you had these skills…
- Ability to create web content through platforms such as WordPress, Confluence, SharePoint
- Knowledge and understanding of Media Production
- Knowledge of the Disney brands, especially TV and Streaming
- Comfortable interacting credibly and representing the Disney brand with external business clients at all levels
- Proven project/time management skills, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Graphic design experience, specifically for internal newsletters, branding, style guides, presentations

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent preferred, preferably in the fields of Communication, Business, Media, Learning & Development or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in California is $77,100.00 - $103,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
