The Person We’re Looking For
PUBG Madison is looking for an experienced Gameplay Animator to join our growing team. As a Senior Gameplay Animator, you’ll be expected to create high fidelity 1st person and 3rd person animations. Knowledge of real-life weaponry and how they operate is a must.

The Person We’re Looking For
PUBG Madison is looking for an experienced Gameplay Animator to join our growing team. As a Senior Gameplay Animator, you’ll be expected to create high fidelity 1st person and 3rd person animations. Knowledge of real-life weaponry and how they operate is a must.

Responsibilities
- Create high-fidelity player animations using both hand-key and motion capture techniques with a primary focus on 1st person weapon operation
- Advocate for gameplay that both looks and feels top notch
- Implement, test and error check animations in Unreal
- Communicate and collaborate with other departments to achieve high quality gameplay
- Help define and improve DCC and game engine animation pipeline
- Troubleshoot and resolve gameplay animation issues
- Provide feedback, share knowledge and give advice to other animators
- +5 years professional game development experience with at least 1 shipped title
- Expert level knowledge of industry standard software, tools and pipelines (e.g., Maya, Animbot)
- A reel demonstrating excellent hand-key animation skills and an understanding of modern ballistic weaponry
- Experience with Unreal Engine 5
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide insightful, respectful feedback and collaborate effectively with other disciplines
- Deep understanding of and passion for quality gameplay
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and stay self-motivated
- Experience working with motion capture
- Experience with authoring animation blueprints
- Rigging and other technical art skills
