Production Finance Lead

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Production Finance Lead to join our growing team at MrBeast Studios. This role will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support across a variety of digital production projects. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of production finance and accounting processes, and be highly organized and detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the creation, management, and tracking of production budgets and financial reports
• Assist in hiring and managing external production accounting teams
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure financial policies and procedures are followed
• Track and manage project expenditures, ensuring adherence to budgets
• Prepare daily hot costs, weekly cost reports and assist with variance analysis for ongoing productions
• Process and review production invoices and payment requests
• Work closely with accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial data
• Provide financial forecasting and analysis for ongoing and upcoming productions
• Support the development of cash flow projections and assist with project cash management
• Assist with audits and internal reviews of financials for individual productions
• Work with department heads to ensure proper allocation of financial resources
• Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders as needed for financial matters
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in production finance or a related field (film/TV/entertainment industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of production budgeting and accounting processes
• Proficiency in Excel, financial software, and industry-specific tools (e.g., Movie Magic Budgeting, EP Smart Accounting, PSL, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• A proactive, problem-solving approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
