We are currently seeking a Social Content Producer to join our Consumer Creative team based in our New York, New York, Headquarters.
Job Summary
The Social Content Producer is a dedicated and expert creator of both organic and paid social media. The ideal person for the role is a digital native who consistently observes current trends and best practices, and can then implement them in their own campaigns. This role will contribute assets to social campaigns for different brands or shows, will work on designing and enforcing the brand style and voice, as well as directing and approving work from freelance producers.

Job Responsibilities
- Create the full range of social assets for AMC’s various brand and show handles and platforms
- Design still assets, create motion graphics assets, and edit video assets, all at pace with posting timeline
- This can range from simple photo adjustment to meme creation, design templates, animated assets, video supercuts, longer form BTS content edits, across all social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube etc)
- Be Creative Lead for certain shows/brands. Brainstorm, pitch, and write social content ideas; this can include full scripts, outlines, or concepts
- Oversee and direct freelance creators who contribute assets to campaigns you are leading
- Stay consistently abreast of current social media trends
- Partner with social marketing team to ensure ideas comply with overall social strategy and parameters, and are delivered in accordance with their posting schedule
- Partner with Social CD to create social style sheets for network and show handles; work with graphics team to ensure homogony among campaigns; enforce style sheet as needed
- Shoot/capture A/V content (on set with talent, in house, or in an event setting) for use on social
- Occasionally, produce additional asks for other teams, such as CRM and Content Room
- 4+ years of Experience in producing social media content
- Bachelor's Degree
- Master of the Adobe Suite — Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Media Encoder required
- A keen eye for design, typography, color theory and color correction. Can take designs from first mock to final product
- Advanced knowledge of video editing, including sound design and music. Ability to create motion graphics for video projects
- Ability to write scripts and present concepts as needed
- Ability to work at an extremely fast pace, and on several campaigns simultaneously. Self-starts and remains organized throughout a project
- On-set know-how, and experience with photography or videography. Experience with sound equipment also nice to have (preferred)
- Understanding of the entertainment industry, and how a network operates. Previous experience in television is extremely helpful to the role (preferred)
- A connoisseur of television, franchises, storytelling, and culture (preferred)
