THE ROLE


The Gold Studios is hiring a Head of Production to lead all branded YouTube channels and content networks. In this role, you will oversee the development and production of premium YouTube shows created in partnership with major brands, ensuring that every project aligns with both the brand’s goals and our creative vision.


You will manage the full production process — from idea generation and scripting to filming, post-production, and delivery — across multiple brand-led channels. You’ll collaborate directly with high-profile brands, balancing their needs while creating bold, standout entertainment that thrives on YouTube.


We’re looking for a creative and highly organized production leader who is passionate about YouTube-first content, understands the demands of working with brands, and knows how to create shows that build audiences. You should be confident leading multiple projects, managing production teams, and working closely with both talent and clients. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and manage all production operations across multiple branded YouTube channels and show networks.
  • Manage production teams including line producers, coordinators, editors, and freelancers to ensure smooth execution.
  • Serve as the primary production point of contact for brand partners, ensuring projects meet brand guidelines and expectations.
  • Create and manage detailed production schedules, timelines, and budgets for all shows and deliverables.
  • Supervise all phases of production and post-production, including shoots, edits, feedback cycles, and final delivery.
  • Ensure all content adheres to YouTube platform standards, brand requirements, and internal quality benchmarks.
  • Oversee resource allocation, hiring, and vendor management across multiple simultaneous productions.
  • Maintain strong quality control at every step of production, ensuring deliverables are on-brand, on-time, and within budget.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (client services, strategy, marketing) to align production needs with broader goals.
  • Troubleshoot production challenges quickly and efficiently, keeping projects on track.
  • Stay up-to-date on YouTube best practices related to content packaging, upload specs, formatting, and compliance.


WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

  • Proven experience running YouTube channels and productions, including live streams.
  • Strong knowledge of YouTube best practices, content strategy, and audience growth.
  • Background working with brands, YouTube networks, or digital media companies.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • A passion for entertainment, comedy, and internet culture.
