Executive Personal Assistant to Filmmaker & Social Impact Entrepreneur

Santa Monica, CA (Hybrid – In-Person Required Several Days/Week)

Full-Time | 10am–6pm

Salary: $80K–$120K DOE

An accomplished writer, director, educator and social impact entrepreneur is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Executive Personal Assistant to support his multi-faceted professional and personal life. This is a dynamic and hands-on role for someone who thrives in creative and mission-driven environments. The position spans independent documentary and narrative film, nonprofit programming, and general business.


The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, tech-savvy, a strong writer and adaptable—capable of switching between creative, administrative, and logistical tasks with ease. They must bring initiative, follow-through, and discretion, and be energized by meaningful, values-based work. In-person presence is required several days per week at an office in Santa Monica.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive executive and personal support, including calendar management, travel coordination, email monitoring, meeting prep, and task tracking

Manage coordination, and logistics for independent narrative and documentary projects

Support a nonprofit foundation focused on Holocaust remembrance and education through research, outreach, materials prep, and partnership development

Assist with digital and creative work—familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and social media platforms is preferred, or must be a fast and willing learner

Maintain foundation-related websites, monitor analytics, and help develop educational resources and content

Oversee some property management including vendor coordination and oversight.

Handle errands, projects, and administrative organization with efficiency and discretion

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of 3–5 years of relevant EA/PA experience supporting a creative or entrepreneurial principal

Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly organized and detail-oriented

Independent self-starter with a collaborative mindset and strong follow-through

Creative thinker and problem solver who can manage shifting priorities and workstreams

High level of discretion, integrity, and emotional intelligence

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Adobe Creative Suite and website/content management a plus

Familiarity with nonprofit work, Holocaust studies, or the entertainment industry is a plus
